Supportive Sober Housing for Women needing assistance on their new journey!
Our 501c-3 non-profit organization has created a foundation of caring that extends deep into the heart of those we serve in our Supportive VITA NOVA Transitional Home – right into the very lives of our community partners. With compassion, we concentrate on anticipating and meeting the needs of women from many different backgrounds seeking refuge from a life of substance use disorder.
Our mission is to provide a structured, stable and safe home for women transitioning from substance use disorder. Our atmosphere offers women who are seeking recovery, a nurturing environment where they can attain the confidence to utilize the tools necessary to reintegrate into a healthy independent lifestyle built on a spiritual foundation.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
Your generous donation will fund our mission of serving the community.
VITA NOVA supportive housing program offers support in the areas of basic needs, financial literacy, employment support and a drug and alcohol free environment for women. Potential residents must have at least 30 days clean/sober and a willingness to adhere to program requirements.
"As a woman who knows the destructive nature of dependency, I had to surrender my feeble attempts at changing my behavior by allowing those who had a heart of compassion and a willingness to lead me out of darkness, to nurture me. Through prayer, willingness and persistence, I was guided by a loving God who placed special people in my life to help me find me. I have found that I could not do it alone, WE had to pull me from the ashes and I have emerged ready to give back what was so freely given to me. Vita Nova is Latin for "New Life" and I have truly been given a new life!" -Rachel Wright Labus
