"As a woman who knows the destructive nature of dependency, I had to surrender my feeble attempts at changing my behavior by allowing those who had a heart of compassion and a willingness to lead me out of darkness, to nurture me, through prayer, willingness and persistence, I was guided by a loving God who placed special people in my life to help me find me. I have found that I could not do it alone, we had to pull me from the ashes and I have emerged ready to give back what was so freely given to me. Vita Nova is latin for "new life" and I have truly been given a new life."

I combine professional training with my own lived experience to support women as they rebuild their lives in recovery. I'm passionate about creating a safe and empowering environment, leading outreach efforts, and helping each resident find stability, purpose, and confidence on her journey.
